IN the last game he started like this, they beat Baltimore as he went 2 innings - and he hasn't given up a run in his last 4 appearances.
When the Tigers do this, they have been successful in most games.

Not concerned with Orioles and Eflin as he is 4.30 era Vs KC in his last three starts.
The last start was in July just before KC got healthy and started winning. In addition Eflin has had 5 starts for Baltimore - all in September and his era for the month is 3.00 but Balt is 2-3 in his starts.
At home his WHIP is 1.25 which is not great.
Balt is 4-3 this year vs KC - But 6 games were all in April when KC was not winning. This team has transformed greatly since and has a better record the last month of the season along with Detroit.

He also has gone on short stints going 4 inn and only 2,2 inn.
He beat the Mets -8-4 last time he faced them but got a ND.
Brewers pounded Manea for 4 runs in 1st inning and he was gone in 3 innings.
Neither starter has been great but the Mets Pen has been solid for the last month.
Montas era last 5 game sis a whopping 5.55
